bir neslin tartışmasız favori çizgi filmlerinden olan, görselliğiyle çocukları gaza getirirken hikayesiyle ayrımcılık ve insan olmak hakkında öğütler veren x-men'in çizgi filmi. opening theme'i ise gelmiş geçmiş en iyi çizgi film müziklerinden biridir. açılışını izlerken bile gaza gelmemek mümkün değildir. bir nesli okul sonrası diziyi kaçırmayıp izlemek için eve koşturtmuştur.

aynı zamanda manchesterlı bir müzik grubu. ünlerini 2008 yılında çıkardıkları the seldom seen kid adlı albüme borçlulardır. yer yer gaza getiren yer yer hüzünlendiren enfes bir albümdür. albüm çıktığı sene ingiltere'nin en prestijli müzik ödülü olan mercury prize ödülünü almıştır. solistleri guy garvey gerek sesi gerek kişiliği açısından çok tatlı adamdır. kızıl kızıl sakalları tatlı gülüşü ve muhteşem ingiliz aksanı sebebiyle kendisine aşık olmamak elde değil. guy garvey aynı zamanda yıllardır bbc radio 6'te pazarları türkiye saatiyle gece 12'de yayın yapmaktadır. takip edilesidir.

her ne kadar insanlar genellikle unknown pleasures hayranı olsalar da closer albümünün daha iyi olduklarını düşündüğüm grup. isolation, decades, 24 hours gibi harika şarkılar içermektedir. nitekim iki albüm de şahanedir. dinlemek, dinletmek gerekir. bir de sevenleri için unknown pleasures tişörtü almadan ölmemek gerekir. harika bir kapak tasarımına sahiptir, kapağın dövmesi de pek şükela olmaktadır.
genel olarak istenmeyen bir şey olsa da ayı ve chubby kültüründe bireylerin isteyerek yaptığı eylem. ingilizce'de bu yola başkoymuş kişilere gainer denir. ve tanıştığım en ilginç gainer sanırım aşağıdaki linkteki arkadaştır. kendisi zayıf kilolu genç mature birçok kişiden hoşlanıyormuş. yani sırf chubby sevdiği için ben de chubby olayım dememiş. asıl isteği ilişki içerisindeki büyük adam olmakmış. bu sebeple de kontrollü bir şekilde kilo almaya başlamış. ilk başta inanılmaz zayıf bir çocukken sonrasında chubby bir 'adam'a dönüşmüş. şimdilerde yine zayıflamış ve morali bozulmuş. yine de yaptığı şeyi takdir etmemek güç.
